This is the comprehensive rehabilitation of two existing buildings, completely different, in a densely populated urban fabric with an enormous complexity in terms of their joint use, their programmatic organization as well as compliance with regulations, especially fire regulations.

The two buildings are arranged and connected through the first floor, working a lot on its shape and materiality, so that it is a meeting, representative and organizational space. Likewise, the roof of the lower building is used as an open space with the same premises.

Arrangement of the floor plan through a service corridor next to the party wall and the rest as classrooms, which allows the flexible use of these spaces to allow the use of new programs and operation required by the current teaching innovation. The facades are treated with the same element, a V-shaped sheet metal profile that, as a module, repeated or separated, allows solving the different situations generated by the existing volumetry, a complexity accentuated by the existence of inclined slabs and bodies at different heights, pursuing a unitary image.
